Zaev’s Cabinet: There is no change of stance and no postponing of resignation

It is not true that the plan of the Prime Minister is to postpone the resignation until December. The resignation is a clear act of taking responsibility, is said from the Cabinet of the Prime Minister, Zoran Zaev, following the various, as they point out, incorrect briefings that the plan of the Prime Minister is to postpone the resignation.

They indicate that consultations are in progress, through which the party bodies, as well as coalition partners, with the full support of Prime Minister Zaev, are working on solutions and decisions that keep the parliamentary majority stable, with the purpose of ensuring a government that maintains the reform and progressive course of the country.

Zoran Zaev on Sunday night after the second round of the local elections, stated that he is resigning from the position of Prime Minister and leader of SDSM due to the poor election results, but said that the government coalition and parliamentary majority are stable and continue to function.
