Pendarovski meets with Biden, Merkel and Stoltenberg on the sidelines of the Climate Change Conference in Glasgow

President Stevo Pendarovski today on the sidelines of the World Leaders’ Summit of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), which is being held in Glasgow, had several brief meetings with US President Joe Biden, Slovak President Zuzana Chaputova, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennet, British Minister for Europe and America Wendy Morton, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and with former British Prime Minister Theresa May.

 

As the Cabinet of President Pendarovski announced, the head of the state today also attended the event that marked the start of the global methane pledge, as an initiative of US President Joseph Biden and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, as well as the leaders’ event “Action and Solidarity – The Critical Decade”, organized by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson.
