FORWARD! is a complex, multifaceted project for long-term monitoring of election process, transparency of financing of political parties, mobilization, elections day observation, education and awareness-raising on voters rights in the Republic of Macedonia. The project is composed of three main components: A. Mobilization and training; B. Monitoring, analysis and recommendations; C. Awareness-raising. The project also includes a number of interconnected project segments and a series of complementary activities that combine diverse methodologies and approaches.

The project will train and engage about 200 observers, a team of analysts and experts and about 1.000 citizen observers. The project will reach over 200.000 voters in a day-to-day field and online action, as well as through direct communication with citizens.Forward logo EN 01

The project will be implemented at national level, through formation of teams that are already monitoring all municipalities in the country, based in 14 regional centers: Skopje, Kumanovo, Veles, Tetovo, Gostivar, Kichevo, Ohrid, Prilep, Bitola, Gevgelija, Strumica, Shtip, Kavadarci, Kochani.

The project implementation started in January and will last seven months. It is financed with German funds from the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe.
