CIVIL: Celebrate, Macedonia!

VMRO-DPMNE’s Members of the Parliament outdid themselves – they voted for constitutional changes. They turned their backs on Mickoski, the Russian player on the Macedonian political scene. With this, Macedonia defeated the Russian aggressive politics after which decades-long aspirations of our country have now become a reality. Mickoski fell to his knees in the town of Shtip, calling people to boycott the Referendum. With no success.

The West has defeated the East.

At this moment, the most important thing is for reason to prevail over emotions. To understand the historic importance of the process and the perspectives that are finally opening up after this decision of the Parliament. To give room for this decision to turn into reality and to walk the road without unnecessary noise, without hesitations and faultfinding, without stupid outbursts of senseless nationalism.

The process started with a sincere diplomatic and political dialogue. In a short time, the sincerity and the commitment produced results, the foundations for overcoming the absurd problem between Macedonia and Greece were set, leading to an Agreement to overcome the Macedonian-Greek dispute. Now – the agreement between the two modern, bold and wise leaders, Zoran Zaev and Alexis Tsipras, alongside with ministers Nikola Dimitrov and Nikos Kotzias, altogether with the governments and with the majority of progressive citizens of both countries - should be implemented to the end.

It is time for peace and progress! It is time to step towards the future!

And to celebrate, for once, without hesitations and corrupt thoughts, without fear, accusations and “deep” analyses on who, for whom and how… Let’s salute. With a wide smile. For the future!
